"If You Really Love Me"

I have red a novel entitled, "If You Really Love Me." It is all about a girl named, Cinnamon Brown who was imprisoned because of murdering her stepmother, named Linda Brown. She was the third and the fifth wife of David Brown. Even if she was inside a room with bars, she never forgets her father who also loved her and gave everything she needs rather than to her mother who kept on yelling at her. She was as if a ball which you could pass or give to someone when you never want to play. Her situation is not that easy to handle. It's because she was at the stage where she needs most of the attention of her parents. She needs a quality time. Due to that great absence, she killed her stepmother. Inorder for her to be with his father. She was placed into a huge dilemma. She has to choose whether to kill Linda and David will live or to allow Linda kill his father who she thinks the only person who ever loved her.

David Brown came from a poor, big family with parents who cannot give everything he needs. He wanted sex and money and respect and earthly things. He betrayed the people who loved him. His parents, five ex-wives and even his brother and daughter, Cinnamon just to get what he wanted. After midnight on March 19. 1985, he drove away knowing his sleeping wife, Linda Brown would be dead when he returns. He let his loving daughter suffer in prison. He also married Patricia "Patty" Bailey, his dead wife's younger sister with the same reason: to fulfill his hunger for sex. He sought sex and wealth to cover up his inadequacies and to control other people. He hit girls who are obsessed with sex and who are pubescent. David was really the head of the crime he was convicted and jher daughter as about to be free as well as his wife.

The novel is really good. The scenes were very well stated. It has something that really stops you not to put it down when you are reading. The next part was very unpredictable. So you must read it as well, so that you willknow why.

''The Different Scientist and their Atomic Contributions''

Ernest Rutherford, a New Zealander, designed an experiment to study how alpha particles with a 2+ charge, interact with a piece of a very thin gold foil. In his experiment, he found out that most of the alpha particles passed straight through the foil. This proves that most of the atom is empty space. But, a few of the alpha particles bounced back and some of it were deflected. This means that the center of the atom or so called nucleus is positively charged. That is why, it reppeled the alpha particles backward.
He concluded that an atom was made up of a very dense, positively charged nucleus where the electrons could be found in an empty space primarily sorrounding the nucleus.
Niels Bohr is a Danish Physicist who made a significant contribution to the rapidly growing knowledge of the atomic structure. He was led to believe that electrons in an atom comes out in a specific region and at various distances when he studied the line spectra of hydrogen.
He explained that a number of orbits are available where each orbit is together with its different energy levels. The orbit closest to the nucleus is the lowest or ground state, while orbits at increasing distances are the second, third and etc. energy levels
However, even if explained his own atomic model and a great number of facts known, his method of calculation did not succeed for heavier atoms.
In 1897, J.J. Thomson discovered thye electron. It is a weightless particle, negatively charged. He also proposed a model of the atom that is often refferd to as plum pudding model. Plum pudding model is a well-known English dessert. Thomson's model explained taht the atoms were composed primarily of a very massive, positively charged blob. In this blob embedded with a negatively charged electrons.
Thomson also used the cathode-ray tube that in an electric field, a beam of cathode ray bends toward the positively charged plate. He found out that electrons are composing the cathode ray which is also negatively charged.
I agreed to Ernest Rutherford's experiment. It is because in his experiment, he really proved that the nucleus is positively charged because it reppeled the alpha particles backward. He also proved that most of the atoms were empty spaced. It is because most of the alpha particles just passed straight through the thin gold foil.
He (Rutherford) came to this conclusion following the results of his famous gold foil experiment. This experiment involved the firing of radioactive particles through minutely thin metal foils (notably gold) and detecting them using screens coated with zinc sulfide (a scintillator). He found that although the vast majority of particles passed straight through the foil approximately 1 in 8000 were deflected leading him to his theory that most of the atom was made up of 'empty space'. That is the reason why I agreed to his atomic theory.

What I did when my computer teacher was not around?

When Mr. Bejarasco, our computer teacher was not around, I spent my one hour everyday by accomplishing my projects, working on my homeworks ahead of time, reading books and sometimes chatting with my classmates. We also went to the computer laboratory together with my clasmates. We on our blogs, visited the group site and posted our reflections in our own blogs.
I also helped one of my classmate to make her yahoo account, goolge account and her blog. Sadly, she was not yet linked to our group site. I also tried to change my blogger layout but I cannot choose what is fit for my blog. It is because I remembered what our computer teacher said that whatever your layout was, it really reflects on your self. So, I made a decision not to change my layout because i I will change it, maybe it will not reflect on me.
Everytime that we went inside the computer laboratory, we felt very excited because we can enhance and add something to our blog like the posts. I worked on my reflections, checked my post and edited it. It is because there were mistakes on my last post.

"My Reflections on my first two months as a Junior"

Being a junior is not an easy life as a student like me. As a junior, it was very hard for me to cope up with my new environment. It was very different from my school life as a sophomore. It's really different because when I was still a second year student, I do really have a lot of time to relax and to free myself from worries and problems. Then, I am only pressured when the quarter examinations are fast approaching. I was pressured by that times because of the requirements that the respectable teachers are giving. But still, the requirements served as useful things to me.

As a junior, I don't have any time to relax myself. It's because of the activities that we are performing and those things that we need to accomplish. Then, everyday I can learn a lot of new things and face new challenges. I'm very thankful to my teachers because through them I learned a lot of things and even if I don't have any time to relax myself, still, I have something to share to my friends.

Therefore, a junior life is not that easy to handle. It is not that easy because everyday, there are always new challenges. Even if, it's a little bit hard, but i can still learn new things from my very hard working teachers.
